We are excited to open up our Online Market for our Winter Markets. The dates of our Winter Markets are:

The Online Market will open:
Monday, January 18th at 8 am and close January 21st at 10 pm.
Monday, February 8th at 8 am and close on February 11th at 10 npm.
Monday, March 8th at 8 am and close on March 11th at 10 pm.
Monday April 5th at 8 am and close on April 8th at 10 pm.
Pick up will be at the Winter Market at 500 Main Street, the old HyVee Drugtown location from 10 am until 12:30 pm.

Closing the Online Market
Thank you for your support of the Ames Main Street Farmers’ Online Market!
In April of this year, we made the decision to offer an online market in order to accommodate our customers and vendors, as well as to adhere to the State guidelines to limit large gatherings of people.
Now that the live Market is open, with safety protocols and social distancing measures in place for several weeks, we will be discontinuing the online market.
The last week for shopping the online market will be July 21-23 with pick up on July 25.
We appreciate the positive feedback the online market has generated and this is a difficult decision, but the organization cannot sustain both markets at the same time. We want to ensure everyone has the best experience possible when shopping with us and we wholeheartedly believe the in-person Market is safe and accessible for all.
Please understand this does not mean the online market is permanently closed. Should any regulations change, we will be happy to reconsider our options throughout the market season.
We understand any disappointment you may have and ask for your patience and understanding as we all work together to navigate these ever-changing times.

What’s in an Online Market Membership?
As a member, you are welcome to shop hundreds of products anytime while the market is live. Many of our longtime vendors participating are excited to utilize this service as a way to continue to reach customers during this age of social distancing.
To order through the new online Ames Main Street Farmers’ Market, you’ll need to create a membership account. As a member, you will receive two complimentary purchases and on your third order a $25 membership fee will be added to your total. Running an online market requires payment processing, webhosting fees and labor to put your order together so you can conveniently pick it up! This annual fee will help us keep our overhead low while enabling our team to run the market in a low-contact manner.
Shortly after the market closes, you will receive an email with pick-up instructions and an assigned pick-up time. Please be sure to read these weekly emails carefully as the pick-up process and/or your pick-up time may change from week-to-week.
This Saturday (May 16), pick -up will be housed from the back door of the Ames Chamber of Commerce. Cars are advised to enter the south parking lots from the 100 block and make their way down to the Ames Chamber of Commerce at 304 Main Street for curbside pickup from the back door. Online buyers will be given a time frame to arrive to minimize congestion of cars waiting in the parking lot.

The Ames Main Street Farmers' Market is Going Virtual!
For the first time ever, the Ames Main Street Farmers’ Market is going virtual!
We are excited to offer this new option to our customers. An online market will allow all of us to continue to support our local farmers, bakers, and artisans and still get our favorite products.
As a market customer, you will need to create a new account to place orders. Your first two orders can be placed on a trial basis, after that a $25 membership fee will be added to your order. Your membership will include unlimited number of orders and will be active for one year.
We also want to let you know that there is a 0.8% Convenience Fee on all purchases. This fee, along with our membership fee, helps us cover the costs of running an online market.
